What is a Scholarship Partner?
A caring individual who Makes Hope Happen for a special needs child and his or her family by providing financial assistance which gives an opportunity for quality education.

Why is Partnering necessary?
It costs Heart of Hope Academy approximately $32,000 dollars a year to educate a special needs student. Because families are depleted financially by therapies, physicians, care givers, and adaptive equipment to satisfy their child's needs, the Academy charges $18,000 a year for tuition, and the Board of Directors works year round to raise the other $14,000 per child.

Why become a Partner?
Make Hope Happen for someone in your community by providing a truly appropriate education.
Teach someone to do for themselves so they may gain independence skills and be able to give back to their community.
Become personally involved with the class by visiting and/or receives letters.
Experience true joys and blessings by watching a child grow to his/her fullest potential.
Leave a local legacy by participating in Heart of Hope’s mission.

Teaching Staff
Heart of Hope Academy is very attentive in their selection of teaching staff. We believe it's important to have a well-rounded view of the students. Special education teachers are hired to lead classes of no more than six students. Two paraprofessionals are appointed to a class of six, with experience in recreation, music, mental health therapy, art, and various specialties that help the Academy provide an informed team approach to each student.
Each employee must agree and adher to our schools values and our philosophy. Key qualities of a great teacher at Heart of Hope Academy are optimism and the ability to see our students as people with true gifts and talents. Employees must have a willingness to see what is possible inthe lives of each student at Heart of Hope Academy.
